Christopher has worked in the Caribbean for since 2004, both in the surveying and banking sector, giving him a unique skill set and specific expertise in overseeing and management of investor funding, co-ordination and monitoring of large scale commercial projects, and achieving project timeline and budget.
Formally with BCQS in Turks and Caicos, Chris was the company’s youngest ever Director and with responsibility for the opening of the fifth BCQS office in the region and the first in the Eastern Caribbean dollar countries.Responsible for the profitable operation of the business and reporting directly to the Shareholders, Chris also developed and improved bank reporting systems related to the real estate and construction lending sectors.
He then joined CIBC First Caribbean International Bank as Director of the Property Sector Division, Credit Risk Management Department at a US$10 billion book bank. Chris was exclusively responsible for writing and upholding the bank’s Valuation and Construction Loan (Fund Monitoring) Policies; oversight and the management of staff;writing seminars and providing education and training; and maintenance of bank panel of external consultants.
Chris is a graduate of Kingston University with a degree in Quantity Surveying and a Fellow Associate of the RICS since 2013.He has been a moderator/ panel member at a number of RICS conferences,board member of RICS Barbados chapter,expert advisor to the Eastern Caribbean Appraisal Institute steering committee member of 2015 RICS Summit of The Americas, Los Angeles, California and has published numerous industry articles for regional and international publications
